Station apps get a redesigned home screen and navigation on phones and tablets, plus an all-new My List, live audio on TV and much more, all in each station's own brand. ![KVIE+, KPBS, WQED+, Buffalo Toronto Public Media and Cascade PBS apps on phones, tablets and a TV](https://www.localpublic.tv/hubfs/release-landing/nl-nov-2026-hero.png) ## A fresh look on phones Station apps now open to a redesigned home screen with new hero cards that have Play, Details and My List buttons built in. Featured, Series and Movies sit right at the top, so the full catalog is a tap away. Hero cards sit beside their details, layouts work in both portrait and landscape, and the navigation bar is compact and centered. Live audio streams, which came to mobile and the web in our last release, now play on the TV apps too, with a full-screen player featuring the station's logo and radio right in the Live guide alongside TV channels. On TV, everything fits on a single screen, with QR codes for links. The iOS and Android apps will now occasionally invite engaged viewers to rate the app, but only after they've opened it a few times or finished watching a couple of videos.
