Frequently Asked Questions

What does the annual subscription include?

Everything you need to run a modern streaming operation: station-branded apps across ten OTT, smart TV, mobile and web platforms, a collaborative CMS with unlimited users, first-party data and Tableau dashboards, and onboarding, staff training and launch support. Every station gets the same service. Only the price varies with station size.

How is pricing determined?

On a sliding scale based on station size, measured by the number of Passport-eligible members at the time of signing. There are three tiers: fewer than 15,000 members, 15,000 to 40,000, and more than 40,000.

How long is the term?

Annual subscriptions run for a one-year term, with optional renewal. The one-time onboarding fee covers launch across all platforms.

What happens to pricing after FY26?

Pricing may increase for new clients in FY27 (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027).  After that, any price increase is capped at 3%. Existing clients are guaranteed no rate increase for three years.

Do we own our app code?

Stations that complete a one-year subscription are eligible for a cost-free license to use and modify their station's app code in perpetuity. You could bring your own CMS and stream on without us. We would not recommend it, because the collaborative back end is the part that makes this work, but the option is yours.

How much staff time does the CMS take?

It varies from station to station. The system is built for complete local curatorial control with a low admin lift, and every station gets unlimited users.

What data do we get?

First-party data delivered near real-time to your own data platform by API or Snowflake transfer, Google Analytics through your station's account with a starter pack of views, and Tableau dashboards covering watch history and benchmarking against other stations.

Can we shape the roadmap?

Yes. Station-led interest groups meet monthly on Programming, Marketing, Project and Product Management, and Data. Stations take an active part in shaping the roadmap by bringing requests straight to our product team.
