Local Public comes to the web

We’re excited to introduce the Local Public web portal, a new way to access the full Local Public experience directly from any web browser. The portal brings the same familiar design, features, and navigation found across our mobile and TV apps, now optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Whether users are accessing Local Public from a laptop at home or a phone on the go, the experience remains consistent, intuitive, and fully responsive.
Stations have the ability to customize their presence within the web portal by adding direct links back to their own websites in the main navigation, adding a custom 'Donate' link, and using the 'Promo Message' feature below the hero to directly engage with users.

The site is fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes, ensuring a great experience no matter how users access it. Whether on a phone, laptop, or large screen, the interface remains consistent, intuitive, and easy to navigate.

The Local Public Web Portal is included in the standard offering for stations, and all current project members are now able to set theirs up. As with all our products, the roadmap is guided by the needs of our partner stations and their members. We will continue to introduce new features and improvements in close collaboration with our partners.
